| David later became the drummer in Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band, and recorded five albums. David provided backing vocals as well. David won a Grammy award for his performance on the Against The Wind album. |
| David's latest projects include a recent tour with JJ Cale, after producing JJ's latest CD, "To Tulsa and Back". David produced a Teegarden and VanWinkle album, "Radioactive", soon to be released, along with work with the Bill Davis Band, and continued work in the recording studio. |
| David was nominated Playboy Music Poll Drummer of the Year for Seven consecutive years. |
